Donating

Rowing is an extremely expensive sport, with individual shells running from $20,000 to $35,000. Maintenance, regatta entry fees, and secondary equipment such as motor boats for the coaches, trailers for the shells, and ergometers are all things we must raise funds for. Clemson University Rowing Association is largely made possible through donations from its alumni and the community. Contributions help the team continue to operate and remain competitive.

For those wishing to assist with our fund raising, you may donate once, or in a yearly interval that comes with some incentives (under the Structured Giving Plan).

Structured Giving Plan

For those who wish to give a certain amount on an annual basis, the Structured Giving Plan will offers some benefits to show our appreciation. For details, please see the Structured Giving Plan. To begin donating under the Structured Giving Plan, please fill out the Pledge Form.

Donation Instructions

The Endowment is in place and NEEDS YOUR DONATIONS!                                                                                                                 

• We need to raise $25,000 before we can start making a return on the invested money
• Follow these instructions to donate to the Clemson Fund:
  • Follow this link: https://cualumni.clemson.edu/NetCommunity/SSLPage.aspx?&pid=323. 
  • Donation instructions are the same as giving to the Clemson Fund
  • Make your designation "CURA - endowment" in the "Special Instructions" field. 
• You can also mail a check.  Just Follow these in struction:
  • Simply print and fill out this form: http://www.clemson.edu/giving/ways/pdf/pledgeform.pdf
  • On the left hand side check the "other" box and write in CURA - endowment. 
  • If you make a donation by check please e-mail our Treasurer at treasurer@clemsonrowingclub.com so we know to add you to the appropriate giving level.

If you wish to make a one-time donation, please see the following instructions. We are greatly appreciative of your support!

• Go to the Clemson Fund donation site.
• Log in using your email address and Clemson Fund password. If you do not have one, follow the "New Registration" link.
• In the "Designation Area", select "Other" and specify "CURA" in the "Special Instructions" field.
